Website Operation
The NEO Information Centre website is supervised by a duty webmaster from 9 am to 5 pm each weekday. At weekends the site is checked three times a day. Should you experience problems with the website or find a mistake please contact the webmaster at [email protected] and they will respond as soon as possible.

Website Problems
The NEO Information Centre website makes use of several browser features that are not supported by the oldest versions of popular programmes. These are:

  • Stylesheets are used for formatting text and lines. If the text in our site is shown in black and is unformatted then your browser is unable to use these features.
  • Frames are used to make the site header, and its functions, permanently visible. Some of the most antiquated browsers cannot view frames.
  • Javascript is used to generate some of the interactive images in our website. If you have javascript turned off or your cache size set to zero then you will be unable to view these images.
  • Flash is used for the NEO movie. If you do not have this plugin you can download it free at macromedia.
  • Cookies are used on our website to remember your preferences and help us improve our service.
  • Low screen sizes may make it difficult to appreciate this website. You can choose, however, to hide the news and events panel by clicking the link found below the panel to increase the screen space for content.

Most up to date browsers can be downloaded free of charge and will rectify these problems and enhance your enjoyment of this and many other websites. This site is optimised for Internet Explorer 4 and 5 and some of the more advanced features are not displayed correctly using Netscape. Future versions of this site will address these differences

Please note that whenever you enter our site you will be redirected to the main page.

Website Design and Content
Please feel free to give us your comments on the design and content of the website. We wish to ensure that all information we provide is accurate and as complete as possible. If you are an NEO scientist and there's anything you think should be changed or added please let us know.

This website was created and designed for the NEO Information Centre by Dr Matthew Genge.
